The current novel that I am reading is titled Sense and Sensibility and is written by Jane Austen. Jane Austen was born on December 16, 1775, in Steventon, Hampshire, England , and is best known for her social commentary in novels including Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, and Emma. Jane Austen is one of my favorite writers. Some may think her books are old-fangled, but I believe there are still life lessons for today. I will give a very short review of Sense and Sensibility. Sense and Sensibility is a story of sisters. There are three sisters in the family, but the book focuses on the oldest two, Elinor and Marianne Dashwood. The sense in the books means good judgment or prudence, and sensibility means sensitivity or emotionality.
